Sophie Asselin, DVM, IPSAV

Dr. Sophie Asselin received her Doctorate in Veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 1999. Then in 2000, she completed an Internship in applied veterinary sciences in the small animal field. She worked for one year in an emergency-only practice at Allegheny Veterinary Emergency Associates in the United States. Still in the US, she practiced at Banfield Pet Hospital in Arizona, from 2002 to 2004. She then came back to Canada to work at the Hôpital Vétérinaire de St-Lambert.

She has worked at the HVRS since the beginning of 2005.


François Bellefeuille , DVM, IPSAV

Dr. François Bellefeuille received his Doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 1999. He completed an Internship in applied veterinary sciences (small animals) in 2000. He moved to the United States to practice at the Warwick Animal Hospital in Rhode Island for 3 years. He then worked as a clinician in emergency medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal from 2003 to 2005.

He has been practicing since then at the HVRS. Dr. Bellefeuille is also a veterinary consultant for the CFCF 12 TV station.


Laurie Bouchard, DVM

 

Dr. Laurie Bouchard received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2007.

She completed an internship in development of applied sciences in the field of small animals in California in 2008. She has worked at the Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive-Sud since the summer of 2008.

 


Ariane Chaput-Milette, DVM, IPSAV

Dr. Ariane Chaput-Milette received her Doctorate in Veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2002. She completed an Internship in applied veterinary sciences (small animals) in 2003. In addition, she did an Internship in internal medicine at the Centre DMV from 2003 to 2004. She worked as a clinician at the Centre DMV emergency ward in 2004. She has worked at the HVRS since then.

Karine Dubé, DVM



Dr. Karine Dubé received her Doctorate in Veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2002.

She has worked at the HVRS since she obtained her diploma.

Sébastien Kfoury, DVM, IPSAV

Dr. Sébastien Kfoury received his Doctorate in Veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2000. He completed an Internship in applied veterinary sciences (small animals) in 2001 and has worked at the HVRS since then. Dr. Kfoury has also been a member of the AMVQ (Académie de Médecine Vétérinaire du Québec) board of directors and occasionally acts as a consultant for the National Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (NBVME).

In addition, he participates in the development of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).


Geneviève Lavallée, DVM, IPSAV


Dr. Geneviève Lavallée received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2006.

She completed a development internship in applied sciences in the veterinary field of small animals in 2007.

She has worked at the HVRS (Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive-Sud) since she obtained her diploma in July 2007.


Maryse Lavoie, DVM, IPSAV


Dr. Lavoie received her Doctorate in Veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in 1985 and completed an Internship in veterinary applied sciences (small animals). In 1986, she received from the AAHA a “Student Award for clinical proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery” .

She first practiced in Saint-Jérôme and has worked at the HVRS since 1990.


Geneviève Lévy, DVM



Dr. Geneviève Lévy received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2007.

She has worked at the HVRS (Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive-Sud) since she obtained her diploma in July 2007.



Émilie Mandeville, DVM, IPSAV


Dr. Émilie Mandeville received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2006.

She completed a development internship in applied sciences in the veterinary field of small animals in 2007.

She has worked at the HVRS (Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive-Sud) since she obtained her diploma in July 2007.


Catherine Peeters, DVM


Dr. Catherine Peeters received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2007.

During her studies, she participated in a one-year student exchange program with the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Lyon, and did several veterinary practicums in Europe.

Dr. Peeters then completed an advanced internship in specialty medicine and surgery for pets at the Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive-Sud, where she has worked since December 2008.



Mélissa Perreault, DVM, IPSAV


Dr. Mélissa Perreault received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2006.

She completed a development internship in applied sciences in the veterinary field of small animals in 2007.

She has worked at the HVRS (Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive-Sud) since she obtained her diploma in July 2007.


Marguerite Wieckowska, DVM

Dr. Marguerite Wieckowska received her engineering degree at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, and then completed a Masters in Biomedical Engineering on magnetic resonance imaging at McGill University in 2002.

Dr. Wieckowska then studied veterinary medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal. During her studies, she worked at a wildlife rehabilitation center for monkeys in Bolivia.

After graduating in June 2007, Dr. Wieckowska did a training internship in medicine and surgery for pets at the Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive-Sud, where she has worked since.

Pia Windisch, DVM



Dr. Pia Windisch received her Doctorate in Veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in June 2001. She first practiced for one year at the Banfield Pet Hospital in Virginia, USA. She then worked as an emergency clinician at the Centre DMV in 2003.

She has been practicing at the HVRS since
June 2003.
